There is no one better in Australia at 20 minute AMRAPs than Hundy Ambassador Rory "The Rooster" Boyden.
Here is his advice to get the best score you can in 16.1. Let's see if anyone can catch him!
1. Choose the most efficient burpee style for you. Step or jump? Think about your strengths and weaknesses. Can you afford to push the burpees or do you need to control your heart rate?
2. If you have the mobility for a closer grip overhead position your hands slightly wider than shoulder width. Keeping the barbell over your skeletal structure rather than muscular will keep you lunging for longer.
3. Use your HIPS on the pull ups! Save your shoulders, they already have plenty to do.
And finally, go hard!
